Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage goes beyond the physical experience of a typical massage.  The direct heat from the basalt volanic stones loosens the muscles, allowing you to receive an intensely relaxing, spiritual and wonderful treatment.

These smooth lava stones are heated to a comfortable warm temperature and with the use of oil they glide over the body creating a warm, flowing massage.  The stones can also be placed on specific points of your body to deeply relax certain muscles. 

The 60 minute treatment begins with de-stressing and stimulating the nerve endings in your feet by placing tiny river rocks between your toes and goes on to use a variety of sizes of stones depending on what part of the body is being massaged.

The heat from the stones is reputed to have many benefits on the body including;

• Increasing the heart rate thus regulating blood flow
• Helps to eliminate lactic and uric waste from the muscles
• Relaxation of muscle fibres
• Improve poor circulation
• Relieve stress, anxiety and depression
